Vintage Hobart Soup Strainer / Colander Attachments for Classic A120 and A150, 12 and 15 Quart Mixers Only – EUC XXXRARE Seller Refurbished – Attachments were de-greased, washed, rinsed, sanitized, polished and lubricated. It is ready for immediate food use. There is light oxidation on the tin plating. Light wear on the food brushes. There is a small chip in one of the porcelain rollers (see all pictures). Attachments function perfectly as it should. Listing includes the following: Flexibly-Mounted rotator attachment with white porcelain rollersFlexibly-Mounted rotator attachment with nylon brushesThe colander basket and mesh screens required to make these attachments work are not included with this listing. Use these attachments for making purees, ricing of potatoes or other vegetables, rolling, pressing and pitting of foods used for jams, jellies or flavorings and a variety of other uses. Pressure is exerted on the colander screen by contact of either a plastic roller or nylon brush assembly. The roller assembly is the most commonly used for ricing potatoes, making fine or coarse soup stock including purees, and for any light pressure operation that does not involve pits or seeds as found in prunes, cherries, and plums. The brush rotator is generally recommended to process foods with pits or seeds. Attachment works on all Classic series 12 and 15 quart mixers (Models A120 and A150) only. This attachment will not work on the Legacy series of mixers nor will it work on the Classic 20 quart A200 mixer. Ask questions prior to purchase as there are no returns.
